The Storyteller Behind the Flame
Every world begins with a spark hers was born in shadow and light.
Marquesha Wash has been building worlds since she first learned to hold a pen. A lifelong devotee of epic fantasy, mythology, and the secrets that hide in plain sight, she believes that the best stories are found in the spaces between light and shadow.
The idea for The Sixth Flame came from a simple question: What if the magic we all wish for was real, but had to be kept secret just to survive? This question sparked the world of Cavara, the Liani people, and the six friends at the heart of the KORE.
